Dance

When I was 4 years old, my mother had put me into every sport and activity imagineable. Gymnastics, piano, karate, and countless more. Nothing lit up my eyes more than dance. To this day, in every spare moment of time I have, my body is moving and dancing. While I was young I didn't understand how to question what the purpose of life was, although I constantly found myself thinking about how dance has created a family for me and makes me feel so alive.

It is through dance where I learnt discipline, patience, and the ability to work with others. Dance has taught me how to be a better person and has given me a sense of purpose in life. I am forever grateful for the experiences and memories that dance has provided me with. I have competed all over canada, with so many different people and have made so many friends along the way. Through dance I have developed the work ethic and cofidence I constantly use throughout my life. As well now, no matter where I move, i am able to join a dance class and make friends so easily. It is truely a gift.

Jellyfish Acrylic Paint
